Heyni Solera is a musician, composer and ethnomusicologist. She has performed all over the world as part of the Avalos Solera Duo and the cello/bandoneon duo Arco & Aire. Rodrigo Avalos is a musician composer, arranger and guitar player, as well as a professor of the bandoneon.
Voices in Clay
Instruments demonstrated include whistling bottles, polyphonic flutes, trumpets, whistles and rattles, as well as some faithful historical recreations. After the demonstration, take a turn and learn how to make music with the ocarina, a ceramic flute that has been made by many different cultures...
